(a, negative, n, euphonic, hosios, "holy"), "unholy, profane," occurs in  1—Timothy 1:9;  2—Timothy 3:2 . Cp. HOLY. In the Sept.,  Ezekiel 22:9 .

2: Κοινός (Strong'S #2839 — Adjective — koinon — koy-nos' )

the neut. of koinos, "common," is translated "an unholy thing" in  Hebrews 10:29 . See Common , Defile , C, Unclean , A, No. 2.
