(Hebrews Kabbon', כִּבּוֹן , in Syriac, A Cake; Sept. Χαββών v. r. Χαβρά and Χαββά ), a place in the "plain" of Judah, mentioned between Eglon and Lahmam ( Joshua 15:40); possibly the same with Machbenah ( 1 Chronicles 2:49). It is perhaps the modern ruined site el-Kufeir, marked byVan de Velde (Map) at 10 miles south-east of Ashkelon.
