(Σαλώμ ), a Greek form in the Apocrypha, (a) incorrectly (1 Maccabees 2:26), for SALU (See Salu) (q.v.), the father of Zimri (Numbers 25:14);

(b) less correctly (Baruch 1:7), for SHALLUM (See Shallum) (q.v.), the father of Hilkiah (1 Chronicles 6:13).

(1) The father of Helkias (Baruch 1:7 ). Greek form of "Shallum."

(2) the King James Version = the Revised Version (British and American) "Salu" (1 Maccabees 2:26 ).
