an English engraver, was born in London in 1743, and was instructed by his uncle, an obscure artist. In 1770 he went to Paris, and became a scholar of Aliamet. The following are some of his principal plates: The Flight into Egypt; Abraham And Lot Quitting Egypt; A Sea-Piece; The Death Of Captain Cook. He died in London in 1805. See Spooner, Biog.
