(Heb. id. אֹהִד ' , Power; Sept. Ἀώδ v. r. Ι᾿Αίοδ ) , the third named of the six sons of Simeon, and head of a family in Israel ( Genesis 46:10; Exodus 6:15). B.C. cir. 1870. His name is omitted from the lists in 1 Chronicles 4:24, Numbers 26:14, though in the former passage the Syriac has Ohor.
