We meet with two of this name, one the daughter of Aram, ( Genesis 11:29) and the other, the daughter of Zslophehad, ( Numbers 26:33) The name is derived from Malkah, queen.

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

(Heb. Milkah', מַלְכָּה , Advice; Sept. Μελχά ), the name of two women.

1. The daughter of Haran, and sister of Lot and Iscah (or Sarah); she married Nahor ( Genesis 11:29), by whom she had eight sons ( Genesis 19:20;  Genesis 19:23), one of whom was Bethuel, the father of Rebekah ( Genesis 24:15;  Genesis 24:24;  Genesis 24:47). She was thus Abraham's sister-in-law, and the grandmother of Isaac's wife. B.C. cir. 2047.

2. The fourth named of the five daughters of Zelophehad, of the tribe of Manasseh ( Numbers 26:33), who became heiresses for the want of brothers ( Numbers 27:1), and, having married members of the same tribe ( Numbers 36:11), were assigned portions in Gilead ( Joshua 17:3). B.C. 1619-1612.

(1) Daughter of Haran, wife of Nahor, and grandmother of Rebekah ( Genesis 11:29;  Genesis 22:20-23;  Genesis 24:15 ,  Genesis 24:24 ,  Genesis 24:47 ).

(2) Daughter of Zelophehad ( Numbers 26:33;  Numbers 27:1;  Numbers 36:11;  Joshua 17:3 ). Many recent authorities are of opinion that Milcah is an abbreviation of Bethmilcah, and is a geographical rather than a personal name.
