( ῾Ιερεμώθ ), the name of two men in the Apocrypha.

1. A" son of Ela," who divorced his Gentile wife after the Captivity ( 1 Esdras 9:27); the JERIMOTH (See Jerimoth) (q.v.) of the Heb. text ( Ezra 10:26).

2. A "son of Mani" who did the same (1 Esdr. 10:30); the RAMOTH (See Ramoth) (q.v.) of the Heb. text ( Ezra 10:29).
