Machbenah [1]
(Heb. Makbena', מִכְבֵּנָא, something bound on, perh. a cloak; Sept. Μαχαβηνά v. r. Μαχαμηνά; Vulg. Maochbena) , apparently a place in the tribe of Judah founded by (a person of that name, the son of) Sheva ( 1 Chronicles 2:49), and probably situated in the vicinity of Gibeah, in connection with which it is mentioned. It is thought to have been the same with CABBON ( Joshua 15:40).
