ASIBIAS ( 1E Esther 9:26 ). One of the sons of Phoros or Parosh who agreed to put away his ‘strange’ wife; answering to Malchijah (2) in Ezra 10:25 .

(Ἀσεβίας, comp. Asebia, 1 Esdras 8:48), one of the Israelites who renounced his Gentile wife after the captivity (1 Esdras 9:26); doubtless a corruption for the MALCHIJAH (See Malchijah) (q.v.) of the genuine text (Ezra 10:25).
