Zathoes , 1Es 8:32 , probably stands for Zattu . The name does not appear in the Heb. of the corresponding passage   Ezra 8:3 , to be corrected from 1 Es. so as to run ‘Of the sons of Zattu, Shecaniah the son of Jahaziel.’

zath´ṓ - ēz , za - thō´ēz ( Ζαθοής , Zathoḗs  ; the King James Version, Zathoe ): Name of a family, part of which returned with Ezra (1 Esdras 8:32), not found in the Hebrew of   Ezra 8:5; probably identical with "Zattu" of  Ezra 2:8;  Nehemiah 7:13 , many of which family went up with Zerubbabel, and so called also "Zathui" (1 Esdras 5:12).
