Waterspouts . Only Psalms 42:7 ‘Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts’ (RVm [Note: Revised Version margin.] ‘cataracts’). The reference is prob. to the numerous noisy waterfalls in a stream swollen by the melting of the snow.
