Walter Ore Croggon [1]
an English Wesleyan minister, was born of Baptist parents, at Penryn, Cornwall. He was converted in his nineteenth year, and in 1817 entered the ministry; was stationed successively in Cornwall (1817-22), at Charenton, France (1823 sq.), Zante, Ionian Isles (1827), Kingswood, England (1834), and London, as superintendent of schools (1836-49).
