Walter Cross [1]

an English Independent minister, studied in Scotland and Holland, and settled as pastor in Rope-maker's Alley, Moorfields, London, in 1675. He preached at Utrecht in 1685; returned to London, and died there in 1701. He published two Sermons, and in 1698 A Treatise on the Art of Expounding Scripture by the Points called Accents.
