shōō´bā́ - el , shōō - bā´el ( שׁוּבאל , shūbhā'ēl ):
(1) A L evite, son of Amram ( 1 Chronicles 24:20 ); one of the leaders of song in the temple ( 1 Chronicles 25:20 ). See Shebuel; Gray, HPN , 310.
(2) A son of Heman ( 1 Chronicles 25:4 ). See Shebuel .

(Heb. Shubael', שׁוּבָאֵל , i.q. Shebuel ; Sept. Σουβαήλ v.r. Σωβαήλ , etc.), the name of two Levites, both elsewhere called SHEBUEL (See Shebuel) (q.v.), namely, (a) a son of Gershom ( 1 Chronicles 24:20; comp. 23:16; 26:24); and (b) a son of Heman ( 1 Chronicles 25:20; comp. 1 Chronicles 25:4).
