(or rather Daddoe'us [as in 1 Esdras 8:46], Δαδδαῖος , v.r. Δολδαῖος , Λοδδαῖος , and Λοδαῖος ), a corrupt Graecized form ( 1 Esdras 8:45) of the name IDDO (q.v.) of the Hebrew text ( Ezra 8:17).
