Richard Sherlock [1]
an English clergyman, was born at Oxton; Cheshire, in 1613; and was educated at Magdalen Hall, Oxford, and Trinity College, Dublin. He was minister of several parishes in Ireland, and afterwards became rector of Winwick, England. He died in 1689.
