Richard Sampson [1]
Bishop of Chichester in 1536. He was transferred to Coventry and Lichfield, 1542-43, and died at Eccleshall, 1554. He is the author of Commentary on Romans, etc. (Lond. 1546, 8vo): Regii Sacelli (4to).
