Plain Of Moreh [1]
The Hebrew signifies the 'oak, or oaks, of Moreh.' It was near Shechem, where Abram first pitched his tent on entering Canaan, and where the Lord appeared to him. Genesis 12:6; Deuteronomy 11:30 .
