( Πειρά ) , a name found in the apocryphal account of the family-heads who returned from the Captivity with Zerubbabel (1 Esdr. 5, 19); but not contained in the parallel Heb. texts ( Ezra 2:25; Nehemiah 7:29), and evidently originating from a repetition of the name Caphira preceding.
