regius professor of philosophy and elocution at Caen; died Dec. 31, 1709, leaving, among other works, Durand Commnente, or the agreement between philosophy and theology, with regard to the doctrine of transubstantiation, in which he adopted the opinions of Durand on the subject of transubstantiation.
