Osprey. The Hebrew word occurs in,  Leviticus 11:13 and  Deuteronomy 14:12, as the name of some unclean bird. It's probably either the osprey, ( Pandion haliaetus ), or the white-tailed eagle, ( Haliaetus albicella ).
