(Heb. Shephupham', שְׁפוּפָ , probably for. שְׁפוּפָן , An Adder ; Sept. Σωφάν v.r.] Οφάμ ), a son of Benjamin, and head of a family of the same name ( Numbers 26:39); doubtless the same elsewhere ( 1 Chronicles 8:5) called SHEPHUPHAN (See Shephuphan) (q.v.), etc.
