for which see Before , No. 9, is translated "in the sight of" in the Rv (for Av, "before") in  Luke 12:6;  15:18;  16:15;  Acts 7:46;  10:33;  19:19;  1 Timothy 5:4,21;  2 Timothy 2:14;  4:1;  Revelation 13:12 . The Rv is more appropriate in most passages, as giving the real significance of the word.
