nō - a - dı̄´a ( נועדיה , nō‛adhyāh , "tryst of Yah"; Νοαδεί , Noadeı́ ):
(1) Son of Binnui, one of the Levites to whom Ezra entrusted the gold and silver and sacred vessels which he brought up from Babylon ( Ezra 8:33 ); also called Moeth (which see), son of Sabannus (1 Esdras 8:63).
(2) A prophetess associated with Tobiah and Sanballat in opposition to Nehemiah ( Nehemiah 6:14 ).

(Heb. Noadyah', נוֹעִדְיָה Met by Jehovah, from יָעִד ; Sept. Νωαδία v. r. Νωαδά ) , the name of two persons.'
1. A Levite, the son of Binnui, who assisted Meremoth and others in weighing the. precious vessels of the Temple which Ezra brought back to Jerusalem ( Ezra 8:33). B.C. cir. 459. of the Jews, endeavored to terrify Nehemiah from the work of building the wall at Jerusalem ( Nehemiah 6:14). B.C. cir. 445.
