( Νεκωδάν , Vulg. Nechodalcus), given ( 1 Esdras 5:37) as the name of the head of one of the Israelitish families who had lost their pedigree in Babylon; in place of the NEKODA (See Nekoda) (q.v.) of the Heb. text ( Ezra 2:60).
