(Gr. Ναούμ , for the Heb. Nahum, q.v.), the son of Esli and father of Amos, in the maternal ancestry of Christ ( Luke 3:25); apparently the same with JOHANAN (See Johanan) (q.v.), the son of Elioenai ( 1 Chronicles 3:24). (See Genealogy Of Christ).
