Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

( Μυσταγωγία , Introduction To The Mysteries) is a term used in the early Christian churches of the Orient to designate either the Lord's Supper or baptism. To designate the former it is frequently found in the writings of Cyril of Jerusalem and of Theodoret.
