mḗ - shul´ḗ - meth ( משׁלּמת , meshullemeth ): The wife of King Manasseh and mother of Amon ( 2 Kings 21:19 ). She is further designated "daughter of Haruz of Jotbah." This is the earliest instance of the birthplace being added to the designation of the queen mother. The name is properly the feminine of the frequently occurring Meshullam (which see).
