1: συμβιβάζω (Strong'S #4822 Verb sumbibazo soom-bib-ad'-zo )
signifies "to cause to coalesce, to join or knit together," Ephesians 4:16 , Rv, "knit together" (Av, "compacted);" Colossians 2:2 , where some would assign the alternative meaning, "to instruct," as, e.g., in 1 Corinthians 2:16; in Colossians 2:19 , "knit together," it is said of the church, as the body of which Christ is the Head.
