John Edward Davidson [1]
a Presbyterian minister, was born in Fairfield District, S.C., June 16, 1827. He graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1853; was ordained an evangelist by the Presbytery of Tombigbee, December 17 of the same year; became pastor at Miuden, Alabama, in 1854, and died there October 30 of that year.
