John Blackbourne [1]
a learned English divine, was born in 1683, and educated at Trinity College, Cambridge. After the Revolution he refused to take the oaths, thus excluding himself from Church preferment. He became corrector of the press to Bowyer, the celebrated printer, and edited several important works.
