Johann Eduard Huther [1]
a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born September 10, 1807, at Hamburg. He studied at Bonn, Gottingen, and Berlin; was in 1842 religious instructor in the gymnasium at Schwerin; in 1855 pastor at Wittenforden, near Schwerin; and died March 17, 1880, leaving, Cyprians Lehre von der Kirche (Gotha, 1839): — Commentar uber den Brief Pauli an die Colosser (Hamburg, 1841): — Der Religions-Unterricht in den Gymnasien (Rostock, 1848).
