Jeconiah or JEHOIACHIN . Son of Jehoiakim, last but one of Judah's kings. Shortened, by omitting JAH, into Coniah ( Jeremiah 27:20; Jeremiah 22:24). It was virtually Jehovah's declaration of ceasing all connection with him ( Hosea 9:12).
