Jean Arboreus [1]
a French theologian, native of Laon, lived in the early part of the 16th century. He was doctor in the Sorbonne, and wrote, besides certain commentaries on the Bible, Theosophice Tomi I et II, seE Expositio Diffcillimorum Locorum Veteris et Novi Testamenti (Paris, 1540), an interesting work, bearing some analogy to the Sic et Non of Abelard, an edition of which he also prepared.
