Jason Walker [1]
a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in Ashby, Mass., Feb. 17, 1793. He was converted when about seventeen years of age; successfully filled the offices of class-leader, exhorter, and local preacher, till in June, 1813, when he was received on trial in the traveling connection. He labored as follows Wethersfield, 1813; Barre, 1814; Bristol, Somerset, and Rhode Island, 1815; Mansfield, 1816; Warwick Circuit, 1818. He died at Smithfield, R.I., April 10, 1819.
