(Heb. Yachtseel', יַחְצְאֵל , Allotted by God; Sept. Ἀσιήλ ), the. first named of the sons of Naphtali ( Genesis 46:24). His descendants are called JAHZEELITES (Heb. Yachtseeli', יִחְצְאֵלַי , Sept. Ἀσιηλί , Numbers 26:48). In 1 Chronicles 7:13, the name is written JAHZIEL ( יִחְצַיאֵל , Yhchtsiel', id.; Sept. Ι᾿Ασιήλ ). B C. 1856.
