( Ι᾿Σδαήλ ,Vulg. Gaddahel), the name of one of the heads of families of "Solomon's servants" that returned from the captivity ( 1 Esdras 5:33); evidently the GIDDEL (See Giddel) (q.v.) of the Heb. texts ( Ezra 2:56;  Nehemiah 7:58).
