Caprini (Lat. Caprinus), Giovanni Antonio,
a Neapolitan theologian and philosopher, was born in Aquila in 1614. He belonged to the society of the Jesuits, and became professor of philosophy and belles-lettres in several houses of his order, as well as rector of various colleges.
