Gaulan

Gaulan [1]
or Golan, a city beyond Jordan, from which the small province called Gaulonitis took its name. It was given to the half tribe of Manasseh, on the other side Jordan, Deuteronomy 4:43; and became a city of refuge, Joshua 21:27 .
