Frederico Brandani [1]

an Italian sculptor, a native of Urbino, was a celebrated modeller of statuary in clay; he also made beautiful vases and other vessels of the same materials. One of his vases was ornamented with a group of the Nativity of St. Joseph. He was much patronized by the princes and nobles of the land. He died in 1575. See Spooner, Biog.
