Wilson's Dictionary of Bible Types [1]

 Colossians 3:8 (a) The word here describes lewd language, contaminating conversation, "racy" stories, and all evil communications. (See2Pe  2:7).

 1 Timothy 3:3 (a) By this word we understand "tainted" money. This refers to money used for wrong purposes, or to obtain evil ends. (See also1Ti  3:8;  Titus 1:7,  Titus 1:11;  1 Peter 5:2).

 Judges 1:8 (a) This is a figure of men who imagine evil things about GOD's people to further their own lustful desires. (See  Revelation 22:11).

Filth'Y, a.

1. Dirty foul unclean nasty. 2. Polluted defiled by sinful practices morally impure.

He that is filthy, let him be filthy still.  Revelation 22 .

3. Obtained by base and dishonest means as filthy lucre.  Titus 1 .
