Etienne Baudet [1]
a French engraver, was born at Blois about 1620, and studied first in Paris. He afterwards went to Rome and adopted the style of Bloemart; His best works are said to approach the style of John Baptist Poilly. He was a member of the Royal Academy of Paris, where he died in 1691.
