Edias or Eddias,
( Ι᾿Εζίας , Alex. MS. Ι᾿Εδδίας , Vulg. Geddias), the second named of the "sons of Phoros," who took foreign wives after the captivity ( 1 Esdras 9:26); the JEZIAH (See Jeziah) (q.v.) of the Hebrews list ( Ezra 10:25).
