Ebenezer O. Beers [1]
a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Washington, Conn., June 24, 1818, of devoutparents. He experienced conversion at the age of ten; became successively class-leader, exhorter, and local preacher; and in 1840 entered the New York Conference, in which he labored with zeal and fidelity until his death, Feb. 9, 1847.
