Dominic Of The Holy Trinity [1]
a French theologian, was born at Nevers, August 4, 1616. He belonged to a nobleman's family, and in 1634 joilled the Carmelites in Paris. He was sent to Rome to teach; then went to Malta as inquisitor, but came back to Rome again. In 1656 he was made general of his order, and pope Clement X appointed him qualifier of the holy office.
