Domenico Corradi [1]
(called Ghirlandajo), an eminent Italian painter, was born at Florence in 1451, and was instructed in the school of Alessio Baldovinetti. Two of his best pictures are, The Resurrection, and The Calling of St. Peter and St. Andrew to the Apostleship. There are many of his works in the churches of Rome, Florence, Pisa, and Rimini.
