Domenichi [1]

(or de Domenico), an Italian prelate and theologian, was born in Venice in 1416. He taught logic at Padua, theology at Bologna and Rome, and was appointed bishop of Torcello in 1448. Paul II transferred him to the see of Brescia and Sixtus IV appointed him governor of Rome. Domenichi died at Brescia in 1478, leaving, De Reformationibus Romanae Curiae (Brescia, 1495): De Sanguine Christi (Venice, 1557): De Dignitate Episcopali (Rome, 1757).
