De La Roche Alain [1]
a French monk of the order of Preaching Friars, was born in Brittany in 1415. He assumed the Dominican habit at Dinan, and finished his studies in a monastery of the same order in Paris. In that city and in other places he taught theology; and died on the Festival of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin, about 1462.
