David Auerbach [1]

a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born at Limehna, Sept. 2,1599. He studied at Leipsic and Wittenberg, was in 1624 bachelor of theology, and in 1639 professor extraordinary. In 1640, when he was called as superintendent to Borna, he received the degree of doctor of divinity, and he died April 14,:1647. He wrote, Dissertatio Theolog. de Religione non Cogenda (Lipsise):-De Traditionibus non Scriptis Pontificiorum (ibid.):- De Votis Christianorum Oppositis Votis Monasticis (ibid. 1624) :-De Dicto Babac. ii, 3 (ibid. 1639): Refutatio Tractatus Calviniiani quem M.
