Chestnut-Tree

From BiblePortal Wikipedia

American Tract Society Bible Dictionary [1]

Genesis 30:37 , called by the Septuagint and Vulgate the plane tree, with which most modern expositors agree. The plane tree has a tall and stately trunk, with smooth bark, and branches spreading in every direction, covered with a profusion of glossy green leaves. It is nowhere more abundant and noble than in the plains of Assyria,  Ezekiel 31:8 .
